Ndigbo: God’s Agents For A Lasting Change

Igbo World
God purposely singled out the Igbo race as an agent of change in the world, and as members of one Body, the Igbo are the ones who can lead the way and bring people out of political and religious darkness into a great place of light. In other words, you and I are chosen by God as His agents of change in this country where we live.

God has given us the power - the dynamic ability - to bring about the desired change. We're the ones who have the power to effect lasting changes in this country, and so, whatever God desires to do in this country, He'll do through us; we're His extension, His agents of change. We're the ones to whom He has entrusted the life-changing to create a change, so we shouldn’t watch or sit idly by and allow negative events take their toll on us.

Jesus said we're the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-14). Salt preserves. It forestalls or prevents decadence, while light gives direction. Therefore, we can't fold our arms and allow the devil run rampage; we must place him where he belongs, under our feet!

Ndigbo, our presence in Nigeria is a blessing. We can stop the devil from operating freely in our country through our prayers and through the preaching of the gospel. It's only the gospel of Jesus Christ that has the power to change a man's heart. Only the gospel can make a hardened criminal surrender his weapons and live a righteous life. Only the gospel can give true satisfaction to the people of our great nation, and it's up to you as God's agent of change - His minister of reconciliation - to spread the good news and turn the hearts of men and women from darkness to light. Udo Diri Unu!

Let’s Stand With The Igbo

Let’s Stand With The Igbo
As the growing number of people are focusing their attention on the things that would reposition the highly marginalized and the almost forgotten, but one of the most important people Nigeria, and indeed, the world has ever had – the Igbo, I WIN has perfected prayer strategies that will, as a matter of fact, bring back the glory of the Igboman, especially now people of Igbo extraction are becoming more vocal about their faith and dependence on God.
I WIN has began a prayer group known as the ‘Igbo House of Prayer’ that meets twice monthly for intercessory worship, praying for the good of the Igbo race all over the world. The reason for this is that the Igbo race is one that can be found in almost all the parts of the world, and so, a prayer for the Igbo, is a prayer for the whole world!
When we unite together in action, we can truly drive demonic forces out of the atmosphere. Our mission at I WIN’s Igbo House of Prayer is to create an atmosphere at the Nigerian labour market where the Igbo people dominate so as to bring in a righteous attitude and restore family and communal values.
Burdened by the state of affairs in Nigeria and the plight of Nigerians and indeed Africans, anywhere around the globe, the idea is that the Igbo is widely accepted all over the world, and the choice the Igbo for this project is necessary, because when we get the Igbo, we’ve gotten the whole world.
Changing the life of the Igbo man could, no doubt, change the world, and we challenge the body of Christ and indeed, the general public to join ‘I WIN’.
I WIN has one of the best mandates, and is engaged in exploring the roots of the Igbo and encourages groups and members to pray and distribute prayer calendars to people on our mailing list, prompting Christians worldwide to pray daily for the good of the Igbo. The worst person in the world is just one miracle away from being different – a prayer for the Igbo is just a step to that miracle.
Will anything prevent you from standing with the Igbo today? Remember, a stand with the Igbo, is a stand with God (Matthew 25:40).
FACT: The Igbo fought a civil war which was adjudged “no victor no vanquished”. Their leaders have ever since been involved in personal and short-term gains to put body and soul together, at the expense of collective and long-term interest of the Igbo.
FACT: The Igbo are highly marginalized by successive governments of Nigeria, only remembered when their votes are needed to push up a certain small man to the highest position.
FACT: The Igbo are very important, who can never be pushed aside. They are no walk-overs, no doubt. God made them greater, both in mind and in substance. Nigeria as a nation is afraid of the Igbo, and so feels very comfortable to use the Igbo to play a second fiddle in its political affairs. There is a reversal of roles here; something must be done, fast!
PRAYER:
1. Let God arise and let all the enemies of Ndi Igbo be scattered and be covered with shame! Igbo is the head, and never the tail, whosoever will stand against us, will surely fall for our sake!!!
2. Let’s come against the spirit of playing second fiddle in the comity of Nigerian nation. Those who have used us wrongly and spitefully MUST be our servants! Amen.
3. Let the peace of God return in Igbo land, and the spirit of material acquisition without God that has bedeviled Ndi Igbo, be bound, and cast out from among us in Jesus’ name! Amen.
4. Pray against the spirit of self-righteousness and hypocrisy among Ndi Igbo, and let there be uncommon anointing and unction upon all Ndi Igbo, who have accepted and acknowledged the power of Christ to save them from all iniquity.
5. May the spirit of carelessness, compromise and prayerlessness among Ndi Igbo, catch fire in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
6. May the Spirit of God whip them sore, who have carried us away captive in our own land and subjected us into slavery. May they never have rest in life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
7. May God bless the Igboland, sanctify it, and unify the people for greatness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
GOD BLESS NDI IGBO!

Ndi Igbo: The Great Omission

Despite the diversity of human goals, aspirations and means of survival, one thing remains universally essential to everyone, male or female, young or old. It is the well-being of the soul. Whatever your philosophy, ambition or profession in life is; however peculiar, challenging or demanding your circumstances and commitments in life are, this is one area of your life that you will never be excused for neglecting. The Bible says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).
Omissions could be made in certain areas of life with reasonable explanation and negligible repercussions, but matters of the soul are totally different; for while everything else that matters to us in this life will someday cease to be, our immortal souls will continue to live on, whether in eternal bliss or eternal grief. Christ, in describing the incomparable tragedy of losing one’s souls, asked a thought-provoking question: “What shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:37).
We, the Igbo, have for long years committed our lives deeply in the pursuit of the materials, which we always pay dearly for, so long as the government changes face. Successive regimes have seen the Igbo man leaking the wounds of harsh economic policies simply because they wanted their own Caesar to be greater. For a long time, no one knows the Igbo as a good investor in stocks and foreign exchange marketing, but the very moment he dared to try, the story was very different from usual.
When the Igbo was promised the Nigerian Presidency, he did all that he could to receive the mantle, yet it was a near miss. Up till this very moment, the Igbo are still gathering themselves as to what next to do in order to get to the finish line. Hope later on, beamed on the side of the Igbo man, when his sons and daughters were given appointments, yet he could not truly be liberated from that. What is the cause of dislodging us at the edge of breakthroughs?
The Igboman is a man of destiny. God ordained him for greatness, but there are many adversaries. Jacob was a man who was later called Israel by God. He had twelve (12) sons, which actually made up the twelve tribes of Israel. His first son Reuben threw away his right through his inordinate love for pleasure. He slept with his father’s wife and the honour to produce a king for Israel passed away from him.
Judah committed incest with his daughter-in-law, and could not produce a king for Israel until after a period of nine (9) generations. In a whole, it took God forty-two (42) generations to reconcile man again to Himself after the fall of Adam (Deuteronomy 23:2). It takes God up to ten (10) generations to purge evil from one’s bloodline (Ruth 4:18-22). David was the first king of Israel that came through Judah’s bloodline, whereas Saul was the fist from Benjamin (Matthew 1:1-6; Deuteronomy 23:2).
It will be very good for the people of Igbo extraction to look inward and fish out the hand of the monkey that has bedeviled us all these years. What we are seeing today emanated from a borrowed lifestyle, no, this is not what the IGBO stand for. We must have missed it somewhere, and duty demands that we diligently look for it and pick it up. Let us go back, even to the 10th generations of our bloodline, and activate certain things that has been speaking against us (Joshua 6:26; 1 Kings 16:34). Let us repent today and call on God for forgiveness, while there is still time to do so. Let us drop whatever we’re holding now that divide and scatter our family ties, and come home to settle issues with God. Only then, can we be able to find our feet. God bless NDIGBO!
